Watch in HD! First, the Lionel Legacy R30 leaves the elevated main line and travels down the ramp to the ground level yard. Once the R30 Redbird stops in the yard, the Lionel Legacy R16 leaves the yard and heads up the ramp to the mainline. Once on the main, the doors open for a station stop then heads into Mt. Mchugh. This video features Norfolk Southern woodchip train 66E as it traverses the combined Sipping and Switching Society of North Carolina and Ohio Valley Sipping and Switching Society HO scale modular layout at the NMRA Piedmont Division train show on March 13th and 14th. This weekend was the first time that the two groups combined modules into one layout. Prior to this weekend, these modules had never been within 500 miles of each other, but they were 100% compatible! The train features two atlas Dash-8 series locomotves and one Blueline SD40-2, all with DCC and Sound, and the cars are by LBF, Huberts, and Walthers. I followed the train around about half of the layout, and the names of the individual modules are displayed before each clip. Also featured are meets with five other trains on the double main line. I would like to thank Joe Balint and Rick Mattar for contributing some cars to the train. Sorry about some of the wobbling, I don’t have a tripod and was also controling the train at the same time. There is also some background noise, but it can’t be but so quiet inside a train show! Enjoy! Video Rating: 4 / 5

The sections without scenery, including our first depressed center module, have been in service for less than 24 hours.
