Downtown Lock Co. (or Downtown Lock Center, according to the awning – how stupid does a business have to be to not decide on its own name?). Another sign calls it the Downtown Lock & Electric Co. But most intriguing is the oldest and largest sign, which has a Lionel Trains subheading. How cool would it be to have a shop that sells electric trains? What does it say about us that this business can’t survive? 1324 14th St NW, Washington, DC.

Carnesky’s Ghost Train Sets Up Shop In Blackpool

The Ghost Train is the brainchild of Olivier Award winner Marisa Carnesky, which has now set up home in Blackpool having toured the country since 2004. This is the new incarnation of Olivier Award-winner Marisa Carnesky’s Ghost Train. There’s a new cast, new scenes, a better theme, more magic and a mechanical set built by the craftsmen of the Blackpool Illuminations. Paul Kieve, the renowned illusionist, has handcrafted the magic and effects on the ride – and was also responsible for the magic in the first two Harry Potter films and the Lord of The Rings theatre production. Intro to my HO Model Train Layout around the shop.

Where some of my hobbies have to share some space. (My ADD really kicks in in this video.) Beginning and still planning stages of my layout. Lots of the layout is in the “raw”, just layed down and waiting for the weathering and final decisions on placement. Props go out to those who have helped me, weather they know it or not. More to come soon, as I start a video blog and share my other hobbies. I make a mistake and call one of my trains by the wrong name. It’s an SD40-2 not an SD70. (opps) Check out my other videos also. More updates to come.
