Question by darpo1: what type of resistor do i need for 19 and 15 volt power supply?
I am connecting regular standard bulbs ( for model railroading) that are 12 volts (25-30 M-amps), however my power supply has 15 volts for DC and 19 for AC. Im going to connect them in parrallel using about 6 bulbs into a terminal block. ………..what size resisitor do i need? and should i connect only one resisitor for all 6 bulbs or each circuit should have its own .

The easiest way to handle this is to use two silicon diodes rated for at least 1 amp and have a 1.5 volt drop each that will drop your 15 volts to 12 volts. I would full wave rectify the ac output and use 2-3 more diodes to drop the voltage further. I would not use a power resistor to divide the voltage.
