Does anybody else out there enjoy laying under the Christmas Tree?

Question by zeebya: Does anybody else out there enjoy laying under the Christmas Tree?
I started doing this as a kid, and I still love it. I sometimes, when I’m relaxing or have nothing else to do, will lay on the floor under the Christmas tree, with my head right next to the trunk. It’s almost magical, as you look up into the forest above you, the shining lights and pretty ornaments. It’s almost like being in the Ewok village, or a miniature person on a model railroad. Your consciousness just seems to explore upward into the tree, letting your spirit, for a short time, revisit that feeling of security and warmth that was a constant when I was a kid.
I find it quite relaxing. How ’bout you?
Yeah, I have cats, too. But they’re pretty relaxed, and I often tie a couple of Christmas ribbons and bows to their collar as if they’re a gift, so that when they’re under the tree we can joke that they’re “the presents.”
