Take it to a good train shop in your area. If you don’t have one get a copy of Model Railroader and check the advertisers section. Over the years I’ve learned that children are into hard play with their trains. I was one until I learned that you can have just as much fun weathering and setting up dioramas and scenes.

Matangi train FP4103/FT4103 boarding at Wellington Railway Station for Melling.

Only staff were allowed to walk between the multiple units of the old trains, but in the Matangi trains passengers can also cross.

After many delays, this train entered scheduled service on Friday 25th March 2011. The front unit of this pair is numbered FP4103 and the rear unit FT4103.

where can I find odd parts for my lionel trains?

Question by sirpork2001: where can I find odd parts for my lionel trains?
I tried Lionel, and local hobby shops (which are worthless when it comes to parts). I need a steam chest for my Mohawk L-34-8-2. It is a 1990 edition.

Here’s some leads to try – all do fairly extensive Lionel Parts services, hopefully one has what you need:

lol, sorry to laugh at you. I don’t think Alternative Fuel Vehicles was really intended to include electric train sets.

If you can find some markings it would help, like a serial number or something. I suggest asking someone who works at JCPenny if they have any records for that train set. If that doesn’t work I would suggest browsing the Net for a person or organization which deals in collectible and/or antique toys.
