Our G scale train club (Arizona Big Train Operators) held it’s annual January meeting at my house on Saturday 01-16-2010. Approximately 105 members showed up along with 400 other individuals to see the trains run on the Palo Verde & Southwestern Railroad. Two really impressive trains that you will see is a UP Big Boy pulling 121 ore cars and a SP (4) unit lashup towing over 35 flats of lumber. And every piece of lumber was hand cut and stacked on each flatcar. It took several months to accomplish this task. I hope you enjoy this open house video!
