Model Train Display #7: Guy beating a Diet Coke machine with a mallet

The realism of these model train displays is exquisite isn’t it. 🙂 I guess it helps to have a sense of humor. It is in front of the tool store.

This set of model train pictures comes from inside the display window at what was formerly the Palace Theater (and is now the Palace Barber) at the Town Square in Murfreesboro, TN.

A single vending machine at the Smith-Martin/Apache Boulevard station in Tempe, Arizona. The Valley Metro fare collection system (for bus and light rail) is from Scheidt & Bachmann, a German company.

The stump to the left of the vending machine is for an additional machine.

The orange pad on the machine is for waving your prepaid RFID/proximity card which is called Platinum Pass. Before boarding the train, users should wave their card to pay for that ride. Users with paper fares should purchase and then validate using this machine. Users already holding fares should validate using this machine.
