Question by Blondie: The electric dog fences, do you HAVE to bury the fence or can it be just left on the ground?
I’m thinking of buying an electric dog fence which trains the dog to stay within a boundry as he keeps running out on the road but we have a concrete driveway and all the fences say to bury the wire. Is it a must????

Question by Annalisa R: Will my new Yorkie puppy be ok left home alone while I am at work for four hours at a time?
I bring home my baby Yorkie in three weeks. While she’s still potty training I plan to keep her in my bathroom with a baby gate up instead of closing the door. Her crate will be on the floor with it’s door open, and I will have piddle pads for her to use in the corner. I will be leaving a radio on for her to try and keep her from feeling too lonely, and toys for her to play with. I work 9-5, but everyday at lunch time I will come home and spend time with her. When I’m home with her I will be using the “Crate Training” method to potty train, but while at work she will use piddle pads, and I will take the piddle pads outside to the same place where I take her to go potty, so that she will understand that’s where she should go. I will not punish her for accidents and I will praise her when she potties outside. She is a good eater and hasn’t had any problems with low sugar. I decided to get her when my brother worked out of our home but now he’s moving out. Any advice would be appreciated.
