Passing Headcorn junction

Testing the "shuttle" system on my model railway. This is the still-to-be-built Headcorn station. A loco I purchased from a boot fair for a pound is seen to-ing and fro-ing . The "mainline" visable here is in fact a large loop with spring points at each end so as the train reverses it traverses the up and down lines alternately.

47712 "Artemis" meets anothe class 47 with an unpronoucable Welsh name at Clapham Junction while a passenger looks on. "Artemis" is an ex FM rail loco and used to pull the reborn "Blue Pullman" train painted in Nanking blue and white. This colour scheme being inspired by the original DMU "Blue Pullman"

Santa Fe 3751 in roundhouse @ Redondo Junction 1999. The Santa Fe roundhouse @ Redondo Junction is about 3 miles south of L. A. Union Station and next to the Los Angeles River. It was built in 1914 or 15. The roundhouse/turntable were bought by Amtrak in the late 70’s. It had more then 22 stalls to service the locomotives. In 1999 the roundhouse was torn down but the turntable still remains and is operational. You are not really allowed on the property but I have never been chased off. A Santa Fe 4-8-4 no. 3751 Northern class Steam locomotive and it’s tender call Redondo Junction home. It still is a functional engine and for more info on excursion runs and fire ups go here >>>> www.sbrhs.org/Pages/history.html and www.sbrhs.org/Pages/imagegalleries.html
