Question by Extra: Can an electric motor be used as a generator?
With no extra components being added? I mean, by just driving the shaft of the electric motor can you power an electric device like a generator?
by any chance can anyone give me an example of this kind of electric motor?
also, can these motors be used for electrically powered automobiles?

Several things can happen, most often it is because the wheels or the top of the track is dirty and they don’t make good contact in certain places and in other places they do. Clean them both good. If its in the motor then the contacts inside the motor are dirty, they can be cleaned but you have to know what you are doing and be careful to get it all back right. Sounds like track and wheels though.
