I don’t think it is possible to go back to these industries. I think Bombardier has the market for North America.

My second attempt at editing and adding music to my video. I think I could have toned down the railway crossing warning bells. I only wanted them in there because they look cool. 😉

CP General Electric Locomotive Cab

Saturday, October 15th, 2011

Have you ever wondered what a modern locomotive looks like from the cab? This video shows a modern Canadian Pacific GE ES44AC (GEVO) locomotive from the hoggers perspective. I really enjoyed being up in a large cab. It was very fun. Please enjoy the video and don’t forget to Comment, rate and Subscribe to my channel and this video. LocalRailfan Video Productions 2009.

Boeing was in the passenger train business, building the “US Standard Light Rail Vehicle”, which was a MISERABLE failure. They did build a successful series of subway cars for chicago, but were underbid on all other attempts.

Though GE, and for that matter Electro-Motive Diesele, are well known for their locomotives, getting into the passenger car market which is held in a tight grip by Bombardier and Kawasaki would be a nightmare.
