Question by Ruggrock: What sort of routine maintenance should I do to keep my n scale electric train engine running well?
For example, should I put some 3-1 gear oil on the gears through the opening on the bottom? The gears are plastic, and I think it would be okay to put a little of that oil on them, but I’m not sure? Is there anything else I should do to keep it running well?

Question by : How do you take apart a Lionel 027 Train engine?
hello, i have a lionel train model 027 and it stoped working. The problem is that the brushes in the motor are worn out so i im asking how do you take it apart so i can look at the motor. Please post a link or directions of how to do that.
