WD-40 and a little bit of Steel Wool and a small toothbrush. CLR also works with these same tools.

My Kids and me are trying to rezerrect an old Lionel Train–it hasnt been used in almost 25 years or more, upon opening the engine car, there was an Everyready battery still in there completley eroding and dried acid everywhere–I need tips on how to clean this please

Soda water or a mixture of baking soda and water will nuetralize the acid. Do not use any soda pop as it has dextrose or sugar type substances in them and that is yet another mess

My train track is electric and it’s losing connection to the engine and slowing down and sometimes completely stops. My dad say the track is dirty but I don’t know how to clean it?

I say just get a tissue/paper towel and clean the corners by poking it in there.
