Hull Model Railway show 2010 (pt3: Snazzy Scenics & Crumley & Little Wickhill)

Part 3 of the HMRS 2010 model show. Snazzy Scenics are Model railway scenic suppliers. Seen here are some of their modern image custom range of road vehicles. They do a range of different types of signs, posters, detail bits & stuff. Visit their website or email for more details of their products. As seen here, they’ve added extra details that you would see in working vans. Such as the hi-vis vest / jacket, map book, tax disk in the windscreen, newspaper / magazines, clip board, paperwork etc. One such van will appear on my layout, when it gets to the scenic part of the construction. Many thanks to Mr A Seeds. Next we visit a triangular shaped layout by the Hull Miniature Railway Society, called Crumley & Little Wickhill. It’s scale is 4mm/ft gauge: 9mm or better known as 009 scale. The layout is a fictitous 2’6″ guage railway (RVT: Roth Valley Tramway) serving several small communities, high up in the Yorkshire / Lancashire / Cumberland boarder area of the Pennine hills. The layout is set sometime in the 1930’s & has seen it’s best days, but still has a steady flow of traffic. It features a reversal to enable the line climb higher up into the Pennine Hills, to the next town. Note how they’ve modeled some of the well known features of the Pennine’s, the stone barns & walls etc. Not sure what the story behind the big over sized sheep is though???
