Hull model railway show 2010. Here we continue our look at some of the layouts on show. 1st up in this part 5, is N guage Loch Oran. This is based on elements of Crianlarich in the highlands of Scotland. Many buildings etc, if you’ve been to Crianlarich may be spotted. This is set in the period of 1998 to 2008. Next we take a look at Barton Ings. This is based on the narrow gauge industrial railways, on the south bank of the river Humber in the UK. Lots of details to spot on this one. The actual railway this is based on, could be seen from the world famous Humber Bridge (UK). The railway it’s self closed in 1999/2000, due to the sole railways loco failing. Last up on this part is Eastington Lane. Set in Englands north east, is a fictitous secondary route which has seen better days. Freight is provided to local factorys as well as the lie, having a token passenger service. Period is set around 1976 & the guage is EM. Part 6 to follow.
