I have a complete 1956 Lionel Congressional Train Set in EXCELLENT cosmetic and running condition (C8-C7). There are no cracks or breaks in any of the shells. This set is complete and factory correct. This set includes:

Lionel Pennsylvania GG-1 No. 2360 (1)
•Variation A Produced in 1956
•Tuscan body with five rubber-stamped gold stripes. Stripes are faded in some areas, but are still prominent.
•No rust, complete and factory correct
•Automatic couplers still have their action and springs in place and in working condition.
•Three position E-Unit (forward, neutral and reverse)

Alexander Hamilton Observation No. 2541 (1)
•No rust, complete and factory correct

Betsy Ross Vista Dome No. 2542 (1)
•No rust, complete and factory correct

William Penn Pullman No. 2543 (2)
•I have two of these cars
•One car is has no rust, complete and factory correct
•The extra car has minimal rust on the underside of the car and some oxidation on one set of wheels

Molly Pitcher Pullman No. 2544 (1)
•No rust, complete and factory correct

I would say $ 800 – $ 1,000 as a conservative estimate. If you were to sell it, you’d do better breaking it up.
