A SWP (Southwest Pennsylvania Railroad) 2001 derailed on its way to pickup a cut of loaded coal hoppers in Connellsville. On their way down , the rail rolled under the weight of the third unit. They uncoupled the first two, and then proceeded to rerail the locomotive. It doesn’t take long, as the crossing acted like a rerailer, just like in model trains. 2001 is rebuilt GP11. July 11, 2001.
