A childrens story at Christmas. The recent snow, although looking attractive when it first arrived, had been causing problems locally, with shops running out of basic foods and car drivers having trouble climbing icy hills. A little toy train also discovered it gave him problems too!

Lionel Post War Trains

Friday, February 24th, 2012

Lionel Post War Trains, 1945-1969. Being a fan of tin and lithography, my post war collection is limited to a few sets in the 1945-47 range. After that things went primarily plastic. There are a lot of great plastic pieces, but gotta draw a line somewhere. Love em all, just don’t have room or $ $ $ $ for them all.

New what?

Question by ♥KayT♥: New what?
I just got my new kitten, Oliver. I’m not familiar with cats. So, now what? Does he need shots? If so, how much will they cost? What kind of toys should I buy him? How do I “potty-train” him? Etc etc

Best answer:

Answer by Crystal
they have the natural instinct to use the liter box. Although you need to show him where it is. They should get shots at the vet although it isn’t a big deal if they don’t. But I hope you have fun with him/her and a cat pretty much takes care of itself. Other than feeding and watering.

MakerBot Printed Toy Train Track

I designed this section of Toy Train Track for MakerBot printing. It’s compatible with the Thomas, Ikea and Brio brand wood toy train tracks.

For larger objects, getting raft and lower layers to stay stuck can be a challenge. Earlier simple copies had serious warpage issues, so I changed to a lattice structure. This gives the lower layers a chance to flex and cool independent upper geometry. There was still some separation of the raft from the build platform, but it was minor compared to previous iterations.
