Last Sunday I went to the K-10′s model train club monthly public meet. I compiled the footage and pictures into a video. Since most of the time I was running a train (the CP intermodal) most of the footage was taken by my dad who isn’t the best cameraman around. I did get a few shots in, though (You’ll be able to tell who shot what) music is from Pentrex’s “Those Incerdible Alcos” Video Rating: 4 / 5
I took this video after I cleared most of the yard out. I used two Proto 2000 switchers to move the camera as this coal train entered the yard. This yard is a double ended yard and is currently my main yard. I have plans for a bigger yard that will hold over 500 cars but there is still a ways to go before I can finish it. Hope everyone enjoys the video.

I love model trains but I don’t have room for a big layout so I mostly collect small locomotives. I really like the little Docksiders. Most of them have very simple (plain) valve gear but this little AHM model has wonderfully complicated valve gear. Taken with my ELPH 100 set to macro.
In this video, I show how I like to photograph model trains. These techniques can be applied to any scale or type of model. This is my friend Will’s layout…To see his channel go here: www.youtube.com Video Rating: 5 / 5
Doubleheading Cabforwards with a string of heavyweight passenger cars are featured ascending the hill between Oakridge and Klamath Falls in the Oregon Cascades. The two Intermountain AC-12s in this video have replacement Mashima 1833 motors. Layout website: steinborn.org Video Rating: 4 / 5
